Inseego's Ctrack Secures 36 Month Contract Renewal with Glencore for Innovative Fleet Management Solution

Upgraded software will enhance health, safety, and productivity of mining company's fleet of 600 vehicles

SAN DIEGO & PRETORIA, South Africa--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Inseego Corp. (Nasdaq: INSG), a leading global provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) and solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT), announced that it has been awarded a three-year contract extension from Glencore, one of the world's largest global diversified natural resource companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 90 commodities, located in over 50 countries.

Under the agreement, Glencore's fleet of 600 vehicles will be upgraded to Ctrack's advanced fleet management solution at its mining operations in Mpumalanga. A client of Ctrack since 2007, Glencore chose Ctrack given the software's ability to efficiently streamline Glencore's safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) management. By using Ctrack's advanced fleet monitoring software, Glencore is able to comply with various South African government regulations, including the South African Mine Health and Safety Act. For example, the Act requires mines and related companies to identify and eliminate operational hazards so as to minimize the risks to worker health and safety.
