T2000 enhances wireless home phone service with
LTE support
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Novatel Wireless - an Inseego Corp. company (Nasdaq:INSG) and leading
provider of mobile broadband and connected solutions for the Internet of
Things (IoT) - announces the launch of the new Wireless Home Phone -
T2000 at Verizon Wireless. Available now exclusively from Verizon
Wireless (Nasdaq:VZ) online at www.verizonwireless.com
and at Verizon Wireless retail stores for $29.99 with a two-year
contract, it is the first LTE Wireless Home Phone solution for Verizon
Wireless. Service to the line, including unlimited domestic calls, costs
$20 a month - or just $10 for current Verizon Wireless customers and
comes with popular features such as voicemail and essential E911
service. With an informational display and support for fax, the T2000
offers features that make it the perfect upgrade for current Home Phone
customers and anyone looking to go wireless for their home phone service.
"Continuing our long standing relationship with Verizon Wireless and
leveraging our prior experience on the LTE Internet and Home Phone
product, the new T2000 brings some of the most advanced, VoLTE based,
landline voice and data features of its class to Wireless Home Phone
customers on the nation's largest and most reliable network," says
Stephen Sek, SVP and CTO of Novatel Wireless. "With the support of
legacy circuit switched services such as fax, the T2000 enables
customers to seamlessly migrate from traditional wireline phone services
to the advanced wireless 4G network with superior user experience and
ease."
Households are increasingly cutting the cord and opting for wireless
home phone service. Not only are customers saving money, but the
flexibility of being able to take your phone service with you wherever
you go is an added convenience. Mobile job sites, kiosks, long
vacationers can all pick up their T2000 and set up shop at a new
location without having to call customer care.
The T2000 introduces LTE to the Home Phone category at Verizon Wireless.
Additionally, the Wireless Home Phone product features dual RJ11 ports
for Phone/Fax, and an RJ31 port for home security systems (post-launch
feature). With an 1,800 mAh battery, the T2000 is an excellent option
that can get you through a power outage and provide at least 3 hours of
usage time and at least 33 hours of standby time.
"Novatel Wireless is thrilled to launch the Wireless Home Phone - T2000
with Verizon Wireless," says Steve Linke, Novatel Wireless Director of
