Philip Brace

Executive Chairman

Philip Brace was appointed to the Inseego Board of Directors in 2023. Mr. Brace has 30 years of experience in the semiconductor, server, IoT and storage industries and has served in multiple roles across various disciplines, including software, hardware, engineering, marketing, and sales. His most recent role was as President and CEO of Sierra Wireless Inc. from July 2021 to January 2023, where he led the company through operational improvements that increased profits by more than 100 percent and grew revenue by more than 40 percent, culminating in a successful acquisition by Semtech. Prior to Sierra Wireless, Mr. Brace served as Executive Vice President of Veritas Technologies from 2019 to 2021 and President of Cloud Systems and Electronic Solutions at Seagate Technology from 2015 to 2017. Mr. Brace began his career at Intel Corporation and LSI Corporation, holding various engineering and management roles.

Mr. Brace holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Sacramento. Mr. Brace is also a member of the Board of Directors at Lantronix and Blackberry.

Steven Gatoff

Chief Financial Officer

Steven Gatoff was appointed chief financial officer for Inseego in September 2023. With a focus on increasing stockholder value for technology and telecom companies and a passion for driving change and scaling business models, systems, and global operations in support of growth, Mr. Gatoff has a track record of success in building-out finance teams and strategic growth platforms.

Mr. Gatoff has more than 25 years of financial expertise and leadership experience. Prior to joining Inseego, Mr. Gatoff, served as chief financial officer of Edge Case Research, Inc. During his career, Mr. Gatoff has served as CFO at the following companies: Edge Case Research, Inc.; HALO Precision Diagnostics; Absolute Software Corporation; 8x8, Inc.; PagerDuty, Inc.; Rapid7, Inc.; and iPass, Inc. Prior to these positions, Mr. Gatoff held senior finance roles at United Online, Inc., Sterling Commerce, Inc. and VeriSign Inc. Earlier in his career, Mr. Gatoff worked as an investment banker at several Wall Street firms including Morgan Stanley, Bear Stearns & Co., and Credit Suisse First Boston. He began his career as an auditor with Deloitte & Touche.

Mr. Gatoff is a Certified Public Accountant and holds both a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Vermont and an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University.
