Novatel Wireless, Inc. Files Registration Statement For Proposed Initial Public Offering of Common Stock San Diego, July 28, 2000-- Novatel Wireless, Inc., a leading provider of wireless Internet solutions, today announced the filing of a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. All shares in the offering will be sold by Novatel Wireless.

The shares are expected to be offered to the public through an underwriting group managed by Credit Suisse First Boston and co-managed by US Bancorp Piper Jaffray and Banc of America Securities LLC.
